Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is an extremely popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu movies, along with a handful of Malayalam. She received the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the actress in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the daughter of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. At the beginning of 2000, she began as a young actress. After studying fashion design, she went back to film. In 2013, she played the leading role in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. It was not a success at the box office. The film she released was her debut, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. The film did not turn out to be an immediate success in the box office. She had to drop out of several films she was already involved in during 2015, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vedam, to free up space for more ambitious projects. The result was that she made two films together with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the main character on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film's release was pushed back in the year 2015, and is now expected to occur after September in 2020. It will have a different title Janakitho Nauu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja with Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa opposite Vijay, directed by Bharathan.
